Homicide Investigators are advising they have arrested Henry Cunningham for the murder of his wife on the 15600 block of South Frailey Avenue in the city of Compton. The victim was discovered on Monday, December 17, 2018 at approximately 10:05 a.m.
The victim is a female white 58years-old. Her name is not being released at this time.
Suspect Cunningham is a male Black 66 years-old. He was booked for murder, and is being held in lieu of $2,000,000 bail.
The murder weapon, a knife, was recovered at the scene.

UPDATED PRESS RELEASE IS AS FOLLOWS:
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide detectives continue to investigate the death of a female white adult at the 15600 block of South Frailey Avenue in the city of Compton. The victim was discovered on Monday, December 17, 2018 at approximately 10:05 AM.
Investigators have learned that Compton Station deputies responded to a call at the location in regards to a person that was deceased. The victim was located and deputies saw that she had obvious signs of trauma to her upper torso. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators received information that the spouse was possibly involved in the death. The spouse is being detained as a person of interest at this time.
