Last night, Clayton County Police took Joseph Oliver into custody on murder charges after he stabbed his brother to death after a dispute on Braxley Way located in Jonesboro.  Both brothers lived at the incident location.  Sadly, the  dispute and stabbing was witnessed by the father, mother, and grandmother of both of the brothers.

While being transported to the hospital the victim of the stabbing became unstable and shortly after arriving at Southern Regional was pronounced dead.

Clayton County Police Officers encountered and detained Joseph Oliver on Braxley Way and a knife was found on him.  Oliver admitted to stabbing his brother and is now being held at Georgia’s toughest para-military jail.
