On Friday December 14th during the 148th Founders Celebration of the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, City of Jackson Police Chief, Julian Wiser, received the "Ronald M. Cunningham Award" for Community Service.
This award is named in honor of the Fifty-third Bishop of the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, and former pastor of Mother Liberty CME Church located in Jackson Tennessee. Bishop Cunningham has a legacy in community service and advocating issues of human concern. The Ronald M. Cunningham Award is given to an individual who has demonstrated a commitment to being a voice and instrument for human empowerment.
Along with Chief Wiser, numerous others were recognized by the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church for service to the City of Jackson and Madison County.
