OSBI AGENTS ARREST APACHE, OKLAHOMA MAN AFTER HE SHOT MAN IN THE BACK

In the early morning hours of December 15, 2018, OSBI Agents were called to the scene of a shooting at the 500 block of South Coblake, Apache, Caddo County, Oklahoma. Investigators learned 50 year old Donald Eugene Coyle was the owner/operator of the Countryside Inn and he was watching his surveillance system. He observed a man, later identified as 23 year old Amon Killsfirst, burglarizing a tenant's vehicle. Coyle took his pistol outside when Killsfirst started approaching other vehicles, and Coyle confronted Killsfirst. Coyle had his pistol visible when he told Killsfirst that he (Killsfirst) was going to wait for the police. Killsfirst ran away, at which time Coyle told Killsfirst to stop or he would shoot. Killsfirst continued running and Coyle shot Killsfirst in the upper back area. Killsfirst continued running and Coyle fired multiple more shots. Killsfirst was treated at the Lawton Medical Facility, released, and then arrested for burglary. After conferring with the District Attorney, Coyle was arrested for Assault with a Deadly Weapon and booked into the Caddo County Jail. The investigation is on-going.
