Sheriff’s Homicide Investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a Hispanic female adult and a Hispanic male adult in the city of Cudahy.
On December 16, 2018, at approximately 11:16 A.M., deputies from East Los Angeles Sheriff’s Station responded to a call of an assault with a deadly weapon on the corner of Florence Avenue and Wilcox Avenue in the city of Cudahy. Follow up investigation led them to a home in the 5100 block of Live Oak Avenue. Once there, they discovered a Hispanic woman, believed to be in her 30’s, shot to death inside the home. A Hispanic male, in his 30’s, was also discovered shot to death inside the home.
Early information indicates the woman, who resided in the home, was shot by the male before he shot and killed himself. The male suspect did not live at the home. They were both pronounced dead at the scene. A firearm was recovered at the scene and there are no suspects outstanding.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Detectives are responding to the 5100 block of Live Oak Street, Cudahy, to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a female adult.
The suspect, a male adult, was also pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is on-going and there is no additional information available at this time.
