Flood Warning until 10:00AM Tuesday

Shenandoah River at Millville affecting Clarke...Warren and Jefferson Counties The National Weather Service in Sterling Va has issued a

* Flood Warning for The Shenandoah River at Millville.

* From Sunday afternoon until Tuesday morning.

* At 2 PM Saturday the stage was 4.0 feet and steady.

* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.

* Minor flooding is forecast.

* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by late tomorrow afternoon and crest near 12.6 feet by early Monday morning. The river will fall below flood stage by early Tuesday morning.

* Impact...At 12.0 feet...Water reaches the river access at Wagon Trail Place near Harpers Ferry, and completely covers the parking lot of the lower boat ramp at Millville Dam. Portions of the Cool Spring Battlefield begin to flood.

* Flood history...This crest compares to a previous crest of 13.0 feet on Sep 29 2018.

* AFFECTED AREAS: CLARKE, VA ... JEFFERSON, WV ... WARREN, VA
