The National Weather Service in Paducah has issued a
* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for Poor Drainage Areas for... White County in southeastern Illinois... Saline County in southern Illinois... Hamilton County in south central Illinois... Gallatin County in southern Illinois... Western Warrick County in southwestern Indiana... Vanderburgh County in southwestern Indiana... Posey County in southwestern Indiana... Henderson County in northwestern Kentucky... Union County in northwestern Kentucky... Northwestern Webster County in northwestern Kentucky...
* Until 730 AM CST Saturday.
* At 128 AM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain that will cause urban and small stream flooding. Overflowing poor drainage areas will result in minor flooding in the advisory area. Radar estimated rainfall amounts of one and a quarter to two and a half inches have already been reported since the rain started on Thursday. As of 1245 am CST...nearly three inches of rain had fallen in the Angel Mounds area in the southeast part of the Evansville Metropolitan area in the past 36 hours. Water has already ponded in low lying areas with up to two inches of water on some roadways in that area. Additional rainfall of one to one and a half inches is expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
