Today, Friday December 14th, at approximately 11:14 a.m., Millstadt Officers responded to a robbery at Breadeaux Pizza, 105 South Jefferson Street. Officers arrived in less than two minutes, and met with the victim. The victim works for a company that supplies and maintains video gaming machines. The suspect, who was masked at the time of the incident, fled in a gray Nissan Versa with an undisclosed amount of money. While a broadcast was being put out for the suspect vehicle, Officers from the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Department and other agencies began to pursue the suspect vehicle on Route 157, near Cahokia. A short time later the suspect was apprehended on Calvin Drive, in Cahokia.
The suspect is being held pending charges. Anyone who observed anything suspicious around Breadeaux around that time, including observing the suspect vehicle, should contact the police department at 476-7250.
