Motor Vehicle Stop Leads to Cocaine Arrest

ACCUSED: Morgan N. Higgins: 25 year old female / South Amboy NJ
NARRATIVE:
On December 8th, 2018 at approximately 10:45 pm Police Officer Gregory Martone was on patrol in the area of Highway 35 and Deal Rd. After witnessing a motor vehicle violation Martone conducted a traffic stop and encountered the driver, Ms. Higgins.
Further investigation revealed that the driver, Morgan Higgins, was in possession of Cocaine and drug paraphernalia. Higgins was charged accordingly, processed and released on a criminal summons pending her initial court appearance.
