...WINTER STORM WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 PM EST MONDAY...

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation. Additional light snow and sleet
overnight, combined with freezing temperatures lingering in some
locations, will allow conditions to remain treacherous across
the area. Total snow and sleet accumulations up to an inch are
likely around the Charlotte area early Monday. Winds may gust
above 20 mph at times.

* WHERE...Northern portions of Upstate South Carolina and the
southern foothills and Piedmont of western North Carolina.

* WHEN...Until 2 PM EST Monday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Power outages and tree damage are likely
due to the recent ice and snow. The combination of ice and winds
gusting as high as 25 mph could result in widespread power
outages. Travel will be very difficult. The hazardous conditions
may impact the morning commute on Monday.

A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow, sleet
and ice will make travel very hazardous or impossible.
