The Janesville Police Department asks for help in locating a dog that bit a woman.

On Tuesday December 4th, between 9:00 PM and 10:00 PM a woman was bit by a large dark colored dog in the 400 block of West Holmes Street. The dog was described as being similar to a German Shepherd, or a German Shepherd mix.

The Janesville Police Department is asking for help identifying the owner of the dog. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Janesville Police Department at 608-755-3100, or the Rock County Communications Center at 608-757-2244
