Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau detectives are continue to investigate the shooting death of a male adult, who was located on the 6000 block of Wilson Avenue, Huntington Park. 
 
At approximately 1723 hours, Huntington Park police officers responded to a call of a "person down".  Upon their arrival at the location, they observed the victim lying in the street with multiple gunshot wounds to the upper torso.  The victim was subsequently pronounced dead at the scene.
 
No weapon has been recovered and the investigation is ongoing.  There is no additional information at this time.

NARRATIVE:
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide detectives are assisting Huntington Park Police Department with a shooting death investigation. The incident occurred on Friday, December 7, 2018 at approximately 5:23 p.m. on the 6500 block of Wilson Ave, Huntington Park.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
