Dense Fog Advisory until 10:00AM Saturday

The National Weather Service in Grand Junction has issued a Dense Fog Advisory, which is in effect until 10 AM MST Saturday.

* LOCATIONS...Including the cities of Cortez, Dove Creek, and Mancos.

* VISIBILITIES...One-quarter mile or less.

* TIMING...Tonight through 10 AM Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...Ice deposited on roadways and sidewalks by the freezing fog could be quite slippery. The patchy nature if the freezing fog will drop visibilities quickly in a short distance. Visibilities may become severely restricted near rivers, lakes, bridges, and low lying areas.

* AFFECTED AREAS: FOUR CORNERS/UPPER DOLORES RIVER

Instructions:

A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
