A low pressure system will track along the Gulf Coast tonight into the weekend. Cold air will filter into Northeast Arkansas, the Missouri Bootheel, and Northwest Tennessee late tonight as precipitation spreads into the area. As a result, a mixture of freezing rain, sleet and snow will fall across the area. Light accumulations of snow, sleet and ice can be expected through Saturday. Although, the winter precipitation could linger into Sunday morning. Stay tuned to the latest forecast.
* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Plan on difficult travel conditions. Total snow and sleet accumulations around an inch and ice accumulations of a light glaze are expected.
