The Flash Flood Watch is now in effect for
* Portions of Arkansas, much of Louisiana and Texas, including the following areas, in Arkansas, Columbia, Hempstead, Lafayette, Little River, Miller, Nevada, and Union. In Louisiana, Bienville, Bossier, Caddo, Caldwell, Claiborne, De Soto, Grant, Jackson, La Salle, Lincoln, Natchitoches, Ouachita, Red River, Sabine, Union, Webster, and Winn. In Texas, Angelina, Bowie, Camp, Cass, Cherokee, Franklin, Gregg, Harrison, Marion, Morris, Nacogdoches, Panola, Rusk, Sabine, San Augustine, Shelby, Smith, Titus, Upshur and Wood.
* Through the overnight and ending mid to late Saturday morning.
* Widespread rainfall, some heavy at times, will continue this evening and overnight and then end from Southwest to Northeast as a strong low pressure system approaches and moves by just to our South early on Saturday. Event rainfall totals of 2 to 4 inches with isolated higher amounts of 5 to 6 inches possible.
* Heavy rainfall may lead to flooding of low-lying and poor drainage areas as well as rivers, creeks and streams.
