*UPDATE* #LASD Homicide Detectives Responded to Assist Monrovia PD with Death Investigation, Monrovia
Detectives are still investigating and diligently searching for the suspect, Nimrod Perez Guerrero, for the double murder that occured in Monrovia.
Detectives have identified the victims as Cecilia Meza, 41, and her daughter Kelsey Meza, 17, both of Monrovia.

Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau Investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of a female adult and a female juvenile, in the city of Monrovia.
On Wednesday, December 5, 2018, at approximately 1:00 p.m., Officers from the Monrovia Police Department responded to the 800 block of West Colorado Boulevard, Monrovia in order to conduct a welfare check of the residents. Upon arriving, the officers were unable to make contact with anyone at the location. They made entry to the residence through an open window, and discovered the bodies of a female Hispanic adult and a female Hispanic juvenile inside.
It is unknown the nature of the victims injuries at this time.
Both the female adult and female juvenile were pronounced dead at the scene.
There is no suspect information at this time.
The investigation is ongoing and there is no further information at this time.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Detectives are responding to the 800 block of West Colorado Boulevard, Monrovia, to assist Monrovia Police Department personnel investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of a female adult and female juvenile.
The two victims were pronounced dead at the scene.
There is no further information at this time and the investigation is still on-going.
