Local Traffic - Weather Advisory - Cal City - Update on commuter and local conditions 
Rain is expected in area today.
ROADWAY UPDATE:(2:20 PM)
RedRock-Garlock Road is now closed north of Cal City due to flooding.
Highway 58 over the Tehachapi's - Heavy snow reported. CHP is reported escorting over the summit. Snow is sticking between summit and Sand Canyon Rd.
Interstate 5 - Closed over Grapevine. - Heavy Snow reported - Interstate closed at this time. Commuters should expect heavier traffic conditions through Mojave due to the increased traffic from the detour.
Mojave Area - An increase in traffic is being experienced through Mojave due to the I-5 closure.
Several Weather Service advisory’s are in effect in parts of Los Angeles and Kern County mountain areas. No significant weather events expected for Cal City area.
Commuters may experience weather related accidents along most freeways.
Local streets are experiencing areas of minor flooding. Motorists should reduce speed in areas and intersections that are flooded.
Rain is expected to leave the area later this evening.
