Tip-A-Cop Fundraiser for Special Olympics Tonight at Chili’s
The Las Cruces Police Department and Dona Ana County Sheriff’s Office are participating in a Tip-A-Cop fundraiser Thursday evening at Chili’s with proceeds benefiting local Special Olympics athletes.
The Tip-A-Cop fundraiser is from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, at Chili’s Grill and Bar, 426 N. Telshor Blvd.
Santa Clause is also expected to make an appearance at Chili’s from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
LCPD officers, DASO deputies, Codes Enforcement officers and local Special Olympics athletes will be on hand to raise funds and awareness for Special Olympics New Mexico. Donations will be accepted, and Special Olympics T-shirts will be available for purchase with all proceeds benefiting Special Olympics New Mexico.
Tip-A-Cop is one of many events – including the Law Enforcement Torch Run – that local law enforcement agencies participate in to benefit Special Olympics New Mexico.
