November 25, 2018

November 27, 2018
  • A Grand Theft Auto was reported in the 2400 block of Bloomdale Street.  Between 7:00 pm and 11:00 pm on 11-26-18, a 2007 GMC Yukon was stolen from the street.  The vehicle was recovered in the city of Pomona.             
 
November 28, 2018
  • A Residential Burglary was reported in the 2400 block of Hideaway Lane.  The victim arrived home and found the garage door open.  Fearing an intruder may be inside, deputies were called.  The residence was cleared of any possible intruders.  The victim checked the house and found two I-pads were missing.  It was determined that entry was made by shattering a bedroom window.  
  •  A Petty Theft was reported at 1600 Mountain Avenue (Walmart).  A $700 bicycle was stolen from a bike rack attached to a vehicle parked in the parking lot.   
  • A Grand Theft Auto was reported in the 1300 block of Galen Street.  A 2015 Chrysler 200 was stolen from the street. The vehicle was recovered later that night in Duarte.  
  
November 29, 2018
  • A Grand Theft Auto was reported in the 1800 block of Bradbury Avenue.  A 2000 Honda Accord was stolen from the driveway. The vehicle was recovered on 12-01-18 in the city of Baldwin Park.       
 
November 30, 2018
  • A Vehicle Burglary was reported in the 2600 block of WillowGlen Drive.  Unknown persons shattered the victim’s rear passenger window and stole a diaper bag and miscellaneous baby clothes.
  •  A Vehicle Burglary was reported in the 2700 block of Briar Summit. Unknown persons shattered the victim’s rear hatchback window and stole four poinsettia’s, AA batteries, a pack of toilet paper and napkins.   
  • A Grand Theft was reported at 1050 Huntington Drive (Target).  An employee saw three security housings sitting on the ground in the store.  He reviewed surveillance footage which showed an adult male removing the security housings to a router, an air purifier and a vacuum.  The employee recognized the male from previous theft detentions in the store. A theft report was generated.  
 
December 01, 2018
  • Grand Theft Arrest.  Deputies responded to 1050 Huntington Drive (Target) regarding a grand theft call. Upon their arrival, security pointed out an adult male suspect running through the parking lot, who had just ran out of the store with over $1,000 in merchandise.  After checking the parking lot, deputies detained an adult male matching the suspect’s description.  After he was positively identified by security, he was detained pending a grand theft investigation.  After further investigation, the suspect was arrested for grand theft and the $1,609 worth of merchandise was returned to the store.  The suspect was also wanted for committing grand theft the day before at the store.
  •  A Grand Theft was reported at 1088 Huntington Drive (T-Mobile).  An adult male was browsing a display of phones.  The male then left without buying anything. The next morning, employees noticed a phone missing and reviewed security footage showing the theft.  The video was not available at the time of the call. 
  • A Petty Theft was reported in the 1600 block of Delford Avenue.  A Package containing a food processor was stolen from the front porch.  The victim’s surveillance footage showed an adult male taking the package and leaving southbound out of view with the package in his hand. 
  •  Petty Theft Arrest.  Deputies responded to 1050 Huntington drive (Target) regarding an adult male who was being detained for shoplifting.  Upon their arrival, store security advised they were detaining a suspect for stealing a watch, flash drive and a Wi-Fi system.  After further investigation, the suspect was arrested for petty theft and the merchandise was returned to the store.
