Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau Investigators are continuing to assist the Baldwin Park Police Department with their investigation into the deaths of a 73 year-old woman and her 50 year-old son, in the city of Baldwin Park.
On December 4, 2018, at approximately 4:43 a.m., officers from Baldwin Park Police Department responded to a home in the 3900 block of Kenmore Avenue regarding a medical rescue call. Upon arriving, they discovered the 50 year-old male unresponsive inside the home. In a separate room, they discovered his 73 year-old mother. She too was unresponsive. They were both pronounced dead at the scene.
Relatives, who lived within the home, discovered the male unresponsive in the morning and called 911. Neither victim appeared to suffer any traumatic injury.
The cause of death for both mother and son will be determined by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner.
At this time investigators are not looking for a suspect. It is unknown at this juncture whether this tragic event is criminal in nature.
This investigation is ongoing.

The victims were pronounced dead at the scene.
