Deputies arrest Reanna Jonay Brown of Fontana for striking victim with her car after road rage incident in November.

SUSPECT: Reanna Jonay Brown, 26 years old, resident of Fontana
SUMMARY:
On Thursday, November 8, 2018, two drivers were involved in a road rage incident after one of the drivers inadvertently cut off the other driver. The suspect became enraged and chased the victim through various city streets in Fontana, and at one point during the altercation, the suspect intentionally rammed the rear end of the victim's vehicle. The victim exited her vehicle to inspect the damage, while she flagged down the other motorist. As the victim signaled the suspect, the suspect veered her vehicle directly at the victim, accelerated at a high-rate of speed and struck the victim, sending her through the air and onto the ground where she laid incapacitated. The suspect immediately fled the scene and did not render aid to the helpless victim. The victim was subsequently transported to the hospital for medical treatment.
Investigators from the Fontana Sheriff's Station Criminal Investigations Division (CID) initiated their investigation and identified the suspect as Reanna Jonay Brown. CID investigators set surveillance on the suspect and ultimately took her into custody during a traffic stop on December 3, 2018. A search warrant was executed at the suspect's residence where investigators recovered evidence indicative of the suspect's involvement.
Brown was booked in to the West Valley Detention Center on charges of Assault with a Deadly Weapon Causing Injury and Criminal Threats. Her bail was set at $50,000.
