Free Narcan Training information.

B.R.A.D (Bordentown Residents Against Drugs) announces registration for Narcan (naloxone HCI) training; the opioid overdose reversal drug.

The training is provided by the Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
 
There are 25 spaces available. We will take all registrants, those above the first 25 will have standby status/priority scheduling for upcoming trainings TBA.
 
WHO: Family members, friends, professionals and individuals who are at risk or could be in the presence of someone who is at risk for an overdose.
 
WHAT: 60 - 90-minute training. Participants will be able to identify factors that led to the current opioid epidemic, recognize overdose symptoms, and appropriately implement life saving strategies during an overdose such as rescue breathing and the administration of naloxone.
Distribution of FREE naloxone kits for training attendees.
 
WHEN: Wednesday, December 12, 2018. 6:00pm.
 
WHERE: Bordentown Township Senior Citizen Club, 3 Municipal Dr. Bordentown, NJ 08505.
