On 12/01/2018 at approximately 9:22 PM, an Emeryville officer attempted to make a traffic enforcement stop on a bicyclist for an equipment violation. The suspect on the bicyclist fled from the officers on the bicycle and then on foot. Suspect was apprehended on the 3700 block of San Pablo Ave. Suspect was reaching underneath a parked car when he was being arrested. The suspect resisted arrest but officers overcame the suspect's resistance and took him into custody.
Officers located a loaded handgun where they apprehended the suspect. The handgun was found where the suspect was reaching underneath the car. The suspect also possessed narcotics on his person. The suspect was placed under arrest for possessing the loaded handgun and narcotics.
