rd Sheriff.

WHAT:
Sheriff-elect Alex Villanueva will be sworn in to the office of LA County Sheriff after becoming the first person in 104 years to unseat an incumbent Sheriff in Los Angeles. Sheriff-elect Villanueva will be thanking his supporters and detailing his vision for all Angelenos to make our communities and the people who protect them safer. Sheriff-elect Villanueva will also further detail his plans to reform, rebuild, and restore the Sheriff’s Department.

MEDIA PARKING:
Media parking will be located on the dirt lot next to buildings G5 and G8; access to the media lot will be granted through the transit center entrance near the parking structure on Collegian Avenue.
Please refer to the attached map for reference.
NOTES:
Press credentials will be provided at registration table located at the entrance to the auditorium.
The back two rows of seats in the auditorium will be the designated area for tripods and cameras.
Sheriff-elect Villanueva will not be taking questions from the press during or after the swearing-in ceremony.
