Two Men Arrested on Drug Charges; Drugs, Paraphernalia, and Cash Seized
Suffolk County Police today arrested two men in connection with drug charges following the execution of a search warrant at a residence in East Patchogue.
Following an investigation Seventh and Fifth Precinct Special Operation Teams, Emergency Service Section officers, and Seventh Precinct Gang Unit / Crime Section Unit officers executed a search warrant at 1322 Montauk Highway at 4:27 p.m.
Investigators seized heroin, cocaine, marijuana, a Kilo Press, two scales, eleven phones, a laptop, a file cabinet, a motor vehicle and $1,919.
Two men residing at the location were arrested. Victor Nicholas, 30, and Hahshim Saunders, 27, were both charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd Degree, two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, and Criminal Possession of Marijuana 4th Degree.
They are being held overnight at the Seventh Precinct and are scheduled for arraignment at First District Court in Central Islip tomorrow.
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
