                Deputy Jeffrey Hill of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Michael Ray Lewis Evans, 20, address listed as Davis Park Lane in Marion, with possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of marijuana.
                Hill assisted state probation officers with a search of Evans’ residence on Monday, Nov. 5. While on probation, Evans, a convicted felon, is subject to warrantless searches.
                Authorities located a rifle and 1.3 grams of marijuana in his possession.
