Nixle txt msgs discontinued after 12/17/18. Sign up for email notifications 
Beginning December 17, 2018, Nixle will no longer support sending free text messages of Turlock Police Department press releases. Only emergency alerts will be sent via text message.
This change is being implemented due to the increasing carrier costs of sending the SMS messages that Nixle has been paying for. Nixle will not be limiting text messaging to only high-priority emergency messages.
