Detective Jason Grindstaff of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Dustin Joshua Huffman, 35, of 1883 Lake Tahoma Road in Marion, with larceny of a firearm.
                At 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 23, Deputy Jeffery Hill was called to McDowell Family Pharmacy, at 2668 U.S. 70 West in Marion, in reference to a gun that had just been stolen.
                Deputies and store personnel reviewed surveillance camera footage and saw a man walk into the pharmacy, take a handgun from the gun section, conceal it and flee in a pickup truck. They eventually identified the suspect as Huffman, went to his house, apprehended him and found the firearm.
                The $500 Glock was recovered.
