We would like to inform you that the Kentfield Fire Protection District and Central Marin Fire Authority will be conducting a test of an emergency alert system using a Long Range Acoustic Device (LRAD.) The dates, times, and locations for the test are as follows:
WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 5TH starting at approximately 1:00 PM and being conducted from Kentfield Station 17, 1004 Sir Francis Drake Blvd.
THURSDAY, DECEMBER 6TH starting at approximately 10:00 AM and being conducted from Larkspur Station 15, 420 Magnolia Ave. (downtown.)
THURSDAY, DECEMBER 6TH starting at approximately 1:00 PM and being conducted from Corte Madera Station 14, 342 Tamalpias Dr.
During the test, individuals will hear a loud alert tone followed by a voice message.
If you hear the emergency alert during either of these times, please remember THIS IS ONLY A TEST AND NOT A REAL EMERGENCY. There will be no requirement for citizens to take action or shelter in place.
