*UPDATE* #LASD Homicide Dets Inv Circs of Stabbing Death, 1800 blk Compton Blvd, Compton
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau Detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances of the stabbing death of a male Black adult, who was located on the 1800 Block of West Compton Boulevard, Compton.
Detectives have learned that at approximately 9:15 a.m., Deputies assigned to Compton Station received a call of an assault with a deadly weapon.
Upon their arrival deputies contacted the victim and discovered he had sustained a stab wound to his upper torso. The victim was involved in an altercation with another male Black adult, at a nearby location, that resulted in the victim being stabbed in his upper torso. The victim was treated at the scene and transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The motive for the crime is unknown.
Detectives are continuing to process the scene and interview possible witnesses.
The investigations is ongoing and no further information is available.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide detectives are responding to investigate the circumstances surrounding the stabbing death of a man. The incident occurred on Monday, November 26, 2018, at 9:15 a.m., on the 1800 block of West Compton Boulevard, Compton.
The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The investigation is ongoing and there is no further information available at this time.
