A 14-year-old girl walking her dog was the victim of an indecent exposure Monday afternoon. The suspect is unknown and remains at large.
On Monday, November 19, 2018 at 12:47 p.m., our 24-hour dispatch center received a call of an indecent exposure that had just occurred about 20 minutes prior in the 300 block of East Meadow Drive.
The investigation revealed that the victim, a 14-year-old girl, had been walking eastbound on East Meadow Drive when a man driving westbound pulled up to her and asked her for directions. When the victim looked inside the vehicle, she saw the male driver with his pants down to his knees and his genitals exposed. The victim quickly walked away and called her mother. As she was walking, she saw a vehicle resembling the one the suspect had been driving and thought it may be following her. She last saw the vehicle traveling eastbound on East Meadow Drive.
The victim described the suspect as being either mixed race or Hispanic, between 35 and 45 years of age with a heavier build. She describes his vehicle as being a light brown or faded gold four-door sedan that was older looking and its paint was peeling. It was messy inside and there were laundry detergents and bleach bottles in the backseat. The victim was able to meet with a police artist and a sketch of the suspect is attached to this news release.
Detectives are actively investigating this case. At this point, it does not appear that this case is related to any similar cases from earlier this year.
