* WHAT...Snow. Heavy snow expected, especially on Saturday. Snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches by Friday afternoon accompanied by winds gusting up to 60 mph. Another round of heavy snow expected Friday night and Saturday. Additional snow accumulations of 6 to 13 inches expected. Winds gusting as high as 70 mph.

* WHERE...Western Mosquito Range and East Lake County Above 11000 Feet and Eastern Sawatch Mountains Above 11000 Feet.

* WHEN...For the Winter Weather Advisory, until 2 PM MST Friday. For the Winter Storm Warning, from 8 PM Friday to 5 AM MST Sunday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible especially late Friday night and Saturday. Widespread blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility and roads will become slick, snowpacked, and icy. The cold wind chills as low as 25 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.
