Robbery at the Exchange Bank

On Monday, November 20th, 2018, at about 3:30 PM, Officers from the Santa Rosa Police Department responded to a robbery that had just occurred at the Exchange Bank, located at 2201 Mendocino Av in Santa Rosa. Officers learned that a man walked into the bank with a note demanding money. After receiving an unknown amount of cash from the teller, he walked out of the bank and left in a vehicle. The vehicle was described as a newer black sedan. No weapon was seen and no one in the bank was injured.

The suspect was described as an unknown race in his 20's with long hair, and a beard with a mustache. He was wearing a dark colored jacket over a dark colored sweatshirt, and a baseball hat. A security camera photograph of the suspect is attached to this press release.

A reward up to $2,500 is being offered by the Sonoma County Alliance “Take Back Our Community Program.” The reward is for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect involved in this robbery.
