Deputies investigating the death of Bullhead City, AZ resident who was found floating in the river on Sunday

INCIDENT: Death Investigation
LOCATION: On the Colorado River one mile south of the AVI Casino
VICTIM(S): Patrick Hayden, 56 Yrs, Bullhead City, AZ.
SUMMARY: On Sunday, November 18, 2018, at approximately 1:16 pm, deputies from the Colorado River Station where dispatched to a report of a subject found floating in the river, approximately one mile south of the AVI Hotel and Casino. An off-duty police officer was canoeing with a girl scout troop when he noticed what appeared to be a subject floating in the water near the California shoreline. Deputies responded and located a white male adult, who was later identified as Patrick Hayden, from Bullhead City Arizona. Hayden had been reported missing by family members on November 15, 2018. Cause of death is pending at this time. There were no obvious signs of trauma to the victim.
