Deputies respond to an alarm call and arrest a parolee for attempting to burglarize a home

INCIDENT: Suspect arrested for attempted residential burglary
LOCATION: 4300 Block of Lugo Avenue in the City of Chino Hills
SUSPECT: 50-year-old Robert Ramirez of Chino Hills
SUMMARY:
On Sunday, November 18, 2018, at approximately 4:06 a.m., deputies with the Chino Hills Station responded to a residential burglary alarm. The residents were home when the alarm went off and could hear what sounded like a man’s voice at their front door attempting to open the door. Deputies arrived on scene and detained 50-year-old Robert Ramirez of Chino Hills. Ramirez was found to be on parole. After the investigation, Ramirez was arrested for residential burglary and booked at the West Valley Detention Center.
