LA COUNTY DISASTER ASSISTANCE CENTERS SET TO OPEN IN AGOURA HILLS AND MALIBU BEGINNING SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 17
Los Angeles County, in partnership with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (CalOES), will open two Disaster Assistance Centers (DAC) in Agoura Hills and Malibu beginning Saturday, November 17.
“The Disaster Assistance Centers are critical and basic components of our ongoing recovery efforts. They are there to help residents impacted by the Woolsey Fire rebuild their lives as quickly as possible,” said Sheila Kuehl, Chair of the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors. “These centers will provide a central location where those affected by the recent fire can access needed services, resources and support from a variety of public and non-profit agencies.”
