Advisory

Public's assistance needed identifying this suspect, wanted in connection with at least one bank robbery! DETAILS:

DATE: November 16, 2018
Public’s Assistance Needed Identifying Bank robber

On October 31, 2018 at approximately 3:30 PM an unidentified white male entered the SunTrust Bank at 1840 Sandy Plains Road.  The suspect immediately handed a bank teller a note stating he had a gun and wanted cash.  The suspect’s image was captured on video and several still photos are attached to this release.  He is described as a slender white male between six foot and six foot five inches tall.

The suspect fled the area with an undisclosed amount of cash before officers arrived on scene.  At this time, Marietta detectives are asking for the public’s help identifying the suspect.  Note several unique physical features including birthmarks and his distinct chin structure.  The circumstances and description of this case are similar to an older case (June 22, 2018) in Cobb County in which a similar described suspect robbed another bank not far from this location.

This is an active investigation and anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta at (404) 577-TIPS or Marietta Detective Greene direct at (770) 794-2365.
