Thieves' Come Up Empty in Plans to Steal Cell Phones 
On 11/14/18, at approximately 4:42 PM, Simi Valley Police Department Units responded to 2272 Tapo St. (T-Mobile) on a Burglary that just occurred. The reporting party stated that two black males with black "hoodies" entered the business and smashed the display case containing several cell phones. Their attempt to steal the cell phones was unsuccessful as the phones were tethered. The suspects ran out of the business and into a silver four door, 3 series BMW with red paper plates. The BMW was last seen n/b on Tapo St. toward Cochran St. A search of the area was unsuccessful.
