INCIDENT: ENTERING A NON-COMMERCIAL DWELLING

LOCATION: 15300 Block of Laguna Seca, in Apple Valley

SUSPECT: Tonatiuh Diaz, 30 years-old, of Apple Valley

VICTIM: Male adult, 33 years-old, of Apple Valley



SUMMARY:

On Wednesday, November 13, 2018, at 8:40am, deputies responded to an audible alarm at a residence in the 15300 block of Laguna Seca in Apple Valley.

Deputies confirmed the owner of the residence was not home and no one had permission to be on the property or inside the residence. Deputy Chad Schuler located an unlocked back door to the residence and once inside located Tonatiuh Diaz sleeping on the floor in one of the bedrooms. Diaz explained to deputies he drank an unknown amount of alcohol and did not remember entering the residence.

Tonatiuh Diaz was arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center where he was later cite released. He is due to appear in Victorville Superior court on January 15, 2019.
