* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 5 to 7 inches expected with locally higher amounts possible.

* WHERE...Portions of east central Missouri and south central and southwest Illinois.

* WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to 6 PM CST Thursday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.

Instructions:

A Winter Storm Warning for snow means that heavy snowfall of 6 inches or more is expected. The rapid accumulation of snow will make travel extremely difficult, if not impossible. If travel is necessary, make sure to exercise extreme caution.
