Deputies arrest six juveniles for carjacking a pizza delivery driver

SUMMARY: On November 11, 2018, deputies from the Victorville Police Department responded to a report of a carjacking which had just occurred in the 12700 block of Palermo Avenue.
The victim was delivering pizza and left her car idling as she approached the house. Before getting to the house several subjects got in her car as the others blocked her from getting back to her car. Three of the suspects drove away in the car while the other three ran from the location.
At approximately 10:55pm, Sheriff’s Service Specialist M. Felix located the victim’s car on Mountain Creek Drive, near First Avenue. The six suspects were standing near the car when deputies arrived. All six were arrested and booked at High Desert Juvenile Detention Center for carjacking. While conducting a search of the suspects, deputies recovered the cell phone used to order the pizza.
