Narrative:

The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office and the Federal Bureau of Investigations are conducting an

extensive investigation into the Borderline Bar & Grill shooting that occurred on November 7,

2018. Continuing efforts are being made to identify everyone who was at the location when the

incident occurred. With that in mind, investigators are requesting that anyone who was present

during the incident, and has not yet been contacted by law enforcement, contact the Ventura

County Sheriff’s Office at (805) 654-7620 or [email protected].

The FBI’s Victim Services Division is supporting the recovery of lost items from the scene of the

shooting. As the scene is processed, the FBI’s Victim Services Division is collecting, cataloging

and returning lost items at the Ventura County District Attorney’s Thousand Oaks Assistance

Center, located at 625 W. Hillcrest Drive in Thousand Oaks. Please note that while the FBI is

collecting numerous belongings found at the venue, there may be items that have not been

recovered or that were possibly taken for evidentiary reasons. If you lost items at the Borderline

Bar & Grill, please go to the Thousand Oaks Assistance Center to report and possibly obtain lost

items.

The Thousand Oaks Assistance Center’s hours of operation are from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM,

through Friday, November 16, 2018. For additional information, please contact the Assistance
