Retired Cobb Superior Court Judge and Chief Justice of the Georgia Supreme Court Harris Hines will be laid to rest today. His funeral is scheduled to begin at 2 PM at his home church, First Presbyterian Church Marietta. The church address is 189 Church Street Marietta GA 30060.
We anticipate an influx of vehiclular and pedestrian traffic near the church. Motorists should avoid the area between approximately 1 PM and 4 PM if possible.
The church has (4) main parking lots and a map is attached for your reference. If you are attending the funeral please allow enough time for heavy traffic and potential delays.
