Norton Shores Police announce its annual spring Hunters Safety course dates.

NORTON SHORES, MI: The Norton Shores Police Department is accepting registrations for its Spring 2010 Hunters Safety and International Bow Hunting Education Program, to be held April 14-17, 2010. The classroom portion of the program will be conducted at the Norton Shores Branch Library, 705 Seminole Rd, Norton Shores, MI.

This is a combined Hunter Education and International Bow Hunting Education Program; however, the Bow Hunting portion is optional. Students electing not to attend the Bow Hunting portion need not attend the Friday session, but must attend all other sessions in order to receive a Michigan Hunter Eduction Certificate - NO EXCEPTIONS. Unfortunately, students may not attend only the Bow Hunting portion.

The course is FREE; however, a $20 fee will be charged for absent students who fail to cancel 10 days prior to the start of the course. There is always have a waiting list for this course! Failure to cancel denies someone else from taking this course.
