Cold high pressure advancing into the region will bring the potential for the first freeze of the season. The National Weather Service in Lake Charles has issued a Freeze Watch, which is in effect early Wednesday morning.

* EVENT...Temperatures falling to or below freezing, 29-32 degrees.

* TIMING...Between 3 AM and 8 AM.

* IMPACTS...These conditions may kill sensitive vegetation.
