South Brunswick Police are investigating multiple car burglaries which occurred in Kendall Park on Monday morning.  At 5:08AM Officer Matthew Hagood responded to a residence on Eleanor Drive for a car burglary.  The resident advised Officer Hagood after walking his dog he entered his residence through the garage, leaving the door open.  Minutes later the resident exited his house and observed someone in his garage next to his car.  The resident shouted at the suspect, who then fled to an awaiting dark blue or black vehicle and left the area.

The suspect was wearing a hooded sweatshirt when the incident occurred and it is believed that there were additional individuals in the suspect vehicle when he fled from the area.  The suspect stole a wallet which contained personal identification cards and cash. Jewelry and a cell phone were also stolen from the victim’s car.

An additional car burglary was also reported on Village Road.  The suspects also stole a wallet containing personal identification cards and cash from the victim’s car.
