The members of the Hackettstown and Mansfield Police Departments will be participating in a "Beards In Blue" fundraiser this November. Chief Macaulay lifted the facial hair policy for the month of November, so the Hackettstown officers can participate in this fundraiser. Officers will be putting down their razors and growing their facial hair to support The Joan Knechel Cancer Center at Hackettstown Medical Center. Our anti-shave campaign is meant to raise cancer awareness and encourage people to live healthy and get their regular medical checkups to detect issues that could lead to cancer. Our members and our organization will be donating money for each participating officer, but we need your help! Cancer research and treatments are very costly, and we want to lend as much help as possible to those who are fighting for a cure. #beardsinblue We are asking you to donate today and help us help others.
