GBPD honors all Veterans

Today, Veterans’ Day, we take a moment to recognize and thank all veterans who have served our country. We honor those who have pledged to protect our freedom and those who have gave the ultimate sacrifice. As we see tragic events unfold around the world, we must continue to show our support for military service members and their families.

As we celebrate November 11th, I would like to recognize the men and women of the Green Bay Police Department who are veterans and served our great country. The Green Bay Police Department is proud to have 38 veterans who served in the Armed Forces. In addition to protecting our community at home, these officers also sacrificed their safety to protect our country, keeping America safe for us all.

Today we take a few moments to pause and thank our veterans for their service to our country. We will be forever grateful for the sacrifices they have made. To all of the veterans, especially those that work for the Green Bay Police Department, “Thank you for your service and bravery, and it is an honor to have you working for the City of Green Bay.”

Very Respectfully,

Chief Andrew J Smith
