The following crimes were reported in Canyon Country West (Zone 7) during the week of October 29, 2018 to November 4, 2018: 

10/27/18 
Residential Burglary- 26700 block of Linnet Court 
Person(s) unknown forced entry into the victim’s residence and stole clothing from within. 

10/30/18 
Aggravated Assault- Isabella Parkway/Aurora Lane
The victim stated the suspect pulled a folding knife on him during an argument over a parking spot. After the argument, the suspect fled the location and out of view. 

11/04/18 
Commercial Burglary- 26400 block of Carl Boyer Drive 
An asset protection officer stated a suspect stole cash from a cash register when no one was looking. By the time they noticed a crime had occurred, the suspect had left the location.

**PROTECT YOUR VEHICLE FROM BEING BURGLARIZED**
The next time you leave your car unattended make sure your doors are locked. Many times thieves get into vehicles by simply opening unlocked car doors and taking whatever they can. Take all purses and electronics out of your vehicles when you get home at night. Even if doors are locked, thieves may be tempted to break a window if they see valuables inside.
