High Wind Warning until 05:00PM Tuesday
The National Weather Service in San Diego has issued a High Wind Warning...which is in effect from 6 AM Sunday to 5 PM PST Tuesday.
* Winds...Northeast winds 20 to 40 mph with gusts to 60 mph. Isolated gusts to 70 mph at the most wind prone locations such as Freemont Canyon in the Santa Ana Mountains and northern sections of the Inland Empire along and north of Highway 210.
* Timing...Sunday morning through early Tuesday evening.
* Location...Coastal mountain slopes, foothills, and valleys. Strongest winds between Rancho Cucamonga and San Bernardino in the Inland Empire, between Tustin and Rancho Santa Margarita in Orange County, and in and around the San Gorgonio Pass including the cities of Cabazon, Beaumont, and San Jacinto.
* Impacts...Hazardous driving conditions. Strong cross winds. Downed trees and power lines.
* AFFECTED AREAS: RIVERSIDE COUNTY MOUNTAINS ... ORANGE COUNTY INLAND ... SANTA ANA MOUNTAINS AND FOOTHILLS ... SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY MOUNTAINS ... SAN BERNARDINO AND RIVERSIDE COUNTY VALLEYS-THE INLAND EMPIRE ... SAN GORGONIO PASS NEAR BANNING

A High Wind Warning means a hazardous high wind event is expected or occurring. Sustained wind speeds of at least 40 mph or gusts of 58 mph or more can lead to property damage.
